What the fuck, Steve Alter?! Don't have any ideas of your own, so you come and steal mine, word for word? Are ANY of your 'random thoughts' YOUR random thoughts, or are they all someone else's?
I'm thinking yes, 'cuz the azz doesn't allow comments.

Blogger frowns upon copyright infringement. It's in their terms of service. Email their tech support and they'll shut him down.
And just in case you didn't hear, Steve Alter is a plagiarist. ;)

I did contact tech support, so we'll see what happens. I wasn't sure if it was plagerism if it wasn't copyrighted material, but all the same: it's my thing, dammit! All he did was change the title and the appropriate gender pronouns.

Looks like he's at least removed the plagiarized post. I'm somewhat tempted to google some phrases from his other entries just to see if this is a regular habit of his.

Oh, and beege, if the material was written by you and published (and yes, online publishing counts), then it's protected under US copyright law.

I'm pretty positive about how he found the entry. He somehow got onto my blog - maybe by clicking on "next blog" - and he went to Beege's link and found it and copied it on his blog.
I looked at my list of who's been on my blog and found his URL. I like to look at others' blogs who've looked at mine and the stolen entry was the first one there. I knew it immediately because I can't stand that Roxette song.
Just call me Sherlock Peach, part-time detective. Call him Steve Alter the plagiarist.
